HexDump is a simple app that has one input field that takes a string of hex characters and converts them to a translated ASCII string. It displays in two output fields; one for the original hex string and the other for the translated ASCII string. Both of these output fields scroll so it can take very large strings.

Just copy your Hex String from another place on your device and then go to the HexDump app and paste your string into the single input field and click on the "Go" button. You can also just type in a Hex String into the input field if you want.

It is not fancy just a simple translation of Hex to ASCII but if you need to know what all those hex characters mean it is very powerful.

I looked for something like this but did not find anything out there so I wrote this one afternoon. I thought others might also find it useful so I published it.

This app has a one time charge to purchase but has no ads and has no in app purchases. For the one time purchase you can run it on multiple iOS devices both iPhone and iPad. Requires iOS 14 or greater.

Enjoy!
